Poly Gone Parkour

Ancient legends tell of the gods, who were so freaking bored that they came up with a stupid idea.

They decided to seal away their memories and pretend to live mortal lives. Thus, the cycle of reincarnation began.

At first, it was perfect. You could watch your favorite show for the first time again. Then the trolls realized they could mess with people.

Now the gods are a shadow of what we once were but you're starting to remember.

We are at war, but with what:
•a tyrannical god?
•evil aliens?
•shadow societies?
•corrupt governments?
•the love of money?
•trolls?
•or a powerful entity that wants to end all awareness because it believes that suffering is inevitable and unbearable?

Spoiler alert: it's that last one. Some call it Abaddon, others Apollyon. It's real and it has no chill. It's kinda like a spiritual black hole. That's why I just call it the A-hole. It's entropy, oblivion, the original nihilist, and the source of all hopelessness.

That's our enemy. That's the antagonist. That's what we must defeat, somehow. You can't reason with it and it won't surrender. You can't even hit it. It lives within you. It tries to overwhelm you with depression, anxiety, apathy, and boredom. It will eventually defeat you. But you've been defeated before, and you came back. The A-hole isn't the only powerful entity out there.

Development of this game is currently on hold because I don't have the skills to make the art assets I need, or the money to commission them. I had fun working on it, though, so I might come back to it, if I find the motivation to learn how to navigate Blender.
